Your generosity will contribute to our ability to offer much needed scholarships making it possible for professionals from around the state to participate and benefit from this year-long Capstone Certificate Program. In return, infants, young children and families will benefit from these professionals’ increased knowledge, reflective capacity and infant mental health competencies.

As underscored by a recent study by James Heckman, Nobel Prize Winning Economist (New York Times, December 12, 2016), intervening at birth and supporting healthy, early relationships throughout the early childhood years make a difference later in childhood and into adolescence. The innovative curriculum of the UW Capstone Certificate Program is informed by the empirical results from recent developmental, neuroscience, and attachment research. National and State faculty translate these findings in case-based presentations and support the development of reflective capacity through a Mindfulness Class and Case-based Reflective Mentoring Groups.

Your tax-deductible gift to the UW Infant, Early Childhood and Family Mental Health Capstone Certificate Program Scholarship Fund will make a difference in the lives of infants and young children and their families and the professionals who serve them in Wisconsin!

You will help to promote the health and well-being of our youngest and most vulnerable in Wisconsin.

With much gratitude for your support.

Thank you.
